Open to internships & placements

Hi, I'm Saqib.
I build
real products

Computer Science student at the University of Greenwich, building software that solves real problems, from web apps to AI.

Building for real people, not just for marks.

I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Greenwich, where I finished my first year with a first-class 74% average (83% in Principles of Software Engineering). I focus on backend development: APIs, databases and security.

I'm especially interested in AI, and I'm currently building a retrieval-augmented (RAG) assistant from scratch. Outside university I lead regional reporting for a national youth organisation, which taught me how much good tools and clean data matter. I speak English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.

74% first-year average (first class)
£15,000+ raised in under a month
£6,000+ raised with the Salvation Army

Things I've built

🔐 Finished

Secure File Vault API

A REST API for storing files safely. Every file is encrypted with AES-256 before it is saved, and users sign in through an authentication system I built myself.

  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • SQLAlchemy
  • AES-256
  • Custom auth
🧠 In progress

RAG AI Assistant Engine

An AI assistant that answers questions from your own documents and shows its sources. I'm writing the core parts myself: text chunking, embeddings and my own vector search.

  • Python
  • NumPy
  • Vector search
  • LLMs

Don't read everything. Just ask.

Ask my assistant about my projects, skills or experience. Every answer shows where it came from, just like a real RAG system.

Preview Answers are pre-written for now. Soon they'll come from the RAG engine I'm building from scratch.
